The Columbia Connectors Roast & Toast is our signature annual event of networking, celebration, live music, and incredible local food, all set in the heart of Columbia, South Carolina. Designed to bring together business owners, entrepreneurs, creatives, and community leaders, the Connectors Roast & Toast blends authentic Southern tradition with genuine networking opportunities to create one unforgettable experience. Hosted at local venues across the Midlands, such as Finlay Park and City Roots, it has quickly become one of Columbia’s most anticipated business and social gatherings of the year. The Columbia Connectors’ annual oyster roast and kickoff event was created to build genuine connections among Midlands professionals, support local businesses, and foster new relationships. Guests can enjoy fresh local oysters, classic Lowcountry favorites, live music, refreshing drinks, and high-level networking, all within a vibrant, social atmosphere that encourages conversation, collaboration, and community.

This year, guests were treated to an unforgettable experience that included fresh oysters, traditional chicken bog, and Southern inspired catering by Billy G’s Carolina BBQ. Their incredible food perfectly delivered a true Lowcountry experience that keeps guests coming back year after year. Live entertainment is provided by The Abbey Elmore Band, who has set the tone for the event over the past two years with a wonderful performance. Their blend of modern hits and Southern flair delivers the perfect soundtrack for a night of celebration, connection, and community, making them a staple of the Annual Roast & Toast experience and a key part of what makes this event so memorable.
