2024 CHARITY OF THE YEAR

Congaree Riverkeeper

Congaree Riverkeeper is an extraordinary local nonprofit organization that works protect and improve water quality, wildlife habitat, and recreation on the Broad, Lower Saluda, and Congaree Rivers. Pollution, poor planning, mismanagement and urbanization have degraded the water quality, cutting off access to recreation and destroying natural habitats. These problems must be addressed if we are to maintain the integrity of our rivers for our residents.

Pawmetto Lifeline

Columbia Connectors is proud to Support Pawmetto Lifeline. Pawmetto Lifeline is an extraordinary local nonprofit organization that strives to save and improve the lives of the local animal population.

Our organization, as well as individual members, made a contribution of $1,255 to Bark to the Park this year. Pawmetto Lifeline hosts a variety of enjoyable events each year as part of their fundraising efforts. These include Bark to the Park and the Fur Ball Gala.

2022 CHARITY OF THE YEAR

Oliver Gospel Mission

Oliver Gospel Mission, founded in 1888, seeks to engage and transform lives through the power of Christ’s love. With programs, resources, and the love and compassion of Christ, we are guiding those experiencing homelessness from desperation to transformation.

The Roastery was founded in 2020 as a social enterprise of Oliver Gospel Mission. When you purchase our coffee, you are directly supporting Oliver Gospel, and you become a part of the transformation in our city to end homelessness.

In 2022 Columbia Connectors donated $500 and some Connectors donated dress clothing for their new men’s boutique to support their efforts. Learn more or donate to their cause at the link below.
